Master of Science in Wood Technology
Coursework includes everything from tree anatomy and chemistry to forestry to sawmill processes. Additionally individualized project work includes in-depth studies of wood drying using CT scanning technologies.
Experience
Structural Designer
Designed reinforced concrete foundations and steel frames for asphalt production equipment.
Field Engineer
Collection of soil samples for future testing for geotechnical reports. Management of multiple crews on pre-construction site.
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Coursework included engineering basics in math and physics followed by technical courses in fluid mechanics, geomatics, transportation planning, construction management, geotechnical engineering, steel design, reinforced concrete design, and more
Other interests
When I'm not working you can find me gaming, going for walks, or at gym class (particularly body combat or dance). I also like to bake cakes or cookies and share with friends. In the summers, I like camping and hiking.
